Hi Everyone! I’m Eboni, a busy woman like so many of you reading this. By profession I work in finance, but I wear many other hats just like you – wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Ever since my senior year in high school I’ve worked in finance. I decided to pursue an accounting degree and graduated from Winston-Salem State University. Graduation was exciting and this degree was going to open up all kinds of doors for me – or at least that’s what I thought.
But there was one door it wasn’t able to open – the door of fulfillment. Throughout the years, I’ve climbed the corporate ladder and earned my MBA. I was chasing success and still managed to find a void. Living for the weekend and dreading the workweek was my thing, and many friends were in the same boat. This endless cycle of frustration led me to question…
“What is my purpose?”
So I set out to find it. On April 18, 2017 I took a HUGE leap of faith. I added another hat to my collection by starting Heroic Inspirations.
Heroic Inspirations is a place of encouragement and motivation for women as we travel this journey called life – together. We as women wear so many hats that sometimes we feel alone and forgotten when that’s not the case at all. You are not alone! All we need is a little encouragement and motivation to keep us moving and I want to help provide that!
For me, life is more than focusing on the financial bottom line. Instead, it’s about growing the greatness God has planted inside me and being fulfilled daily. I’m sure you want the same, or otherwise you wouldn’t be here! I don’t claim to know it all nor even half, but I want to provide sprinkles of inspiration along our journey. I’m just a real woman – wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend inspiring through my imperfections.
